O^O Yes. That is so fun! I love it when companies aren't afraid to really do new stuff.
Only problem is I think that car is sort of ugly pfft. So I hope the figure is badass.

The Megatron from that line is apparently also a car. And has no cannon. WUT

I'm torn between "Ooh, pretty!" and "WHAT THE NO. YOU MUST DIE SCREAMING FOR THIS."

I wouldn't mind if he were a tank, or something obviously military, but... as it stands... WHAT?!

I'm for the "must die screaming" option. This...just doesn't work for me.

(Though Starscream's car is sexy...)

Yeah, that was pretty much my response, honestly. Why would they make a sexy jet into a car?

The car modes they chose are sexy as hell, don't get me wrong and I could see 'Skywarp' as Sideways in heartbeat. But...take the aerial out of Seekers?

I'm not sure why they would make Megatron a car either, although I'm more open to giving Megatron new alternate modes than anybody else. I just don't think that a car really makes any sense.

I do like the samurai motif, though. Maybe if they use that with a more interesting vehicle at some point. And bring back the fusion cannon, dammit.

wow, just...wow.

I mean, it's a gorgeous smexy car, and I can see if in some weird A/U a Seeker's spark accidentally ended up in a grounder's body-that that would be a good choice but...but...but...

(insert whiny voice here) they're Seeeeeeeeeeeeekerssss! They need to FLY!

There is not enough NO in the Universe to describe how NO that is. Starscream would vaporize that in an instant.

Just...

badass and sexy looking, yes. Starscream, no. the alternity line really could have at least used another fighter jet of some kind (gods know there are enough of them out there) and picked someone else to use this design for.

Huh. Seems to me what they've done is create entirely new characters, and then applied the names of the original characters to their new characters in the apparent mistaken belief that nobody would notice or care!

I would assume that it was an article of faith that Star Scream is a jet. This is sacrilige!

All the Alternity characters are cars. They're also ridiculously powerful. Alternity grew out of the Alternators concept, which was a line of complex Transformers who turned into licensed -and sexy- real-world vehicles and was aimed at the adult collector. (It was called Binaltech in Japan and also spawned the abhorrent Kiss Players line.)
